On My Way - the Doorway

Off to an early start today – after great dreams last night about the garden, herbs and making foods etc. with the garden harvest. It’s always nice to wake up feeling as if you have travelled somewhere important during the night hours…

Or am I the only one who feels that way? LOL

Actually I often have the sense of being very far away at night (and something throughout the day too!) but sometimes it just feels significant or as if there is a very deep purpose to be understood here within the context of my life.

So…I am back on planet earth this morning having ventured into the world of herbs during the night – visiting and exploring these wonderful dimensions and all things Faerie – it always feels like home.

Even though the rain pounded the roots and windows, seemingly all night long – the day is quite still and calm at the moment. And the rain has stopped even though the air is misty and wet.

It’s a real soft Irish morning here in West Cork….you can almost hear the grass grow. Perhaps a day that dreams are made of – one thing I do know for certain, my night dreams (dimension 20) are far more about my life then my waking day.

If that makes any sense, (it does to me) and I have long felt that I am in search of a door to walk through – an energetic portal – in order to shift back into my life, switching dimensions from night into day.

For some reason I even think I know when this reversal happened – and it is medication related….years ago when I was a child and given copious amounts of antibiotics for the strep throats, chest coughs and colds, I always seemed to have.

These antibiotics do far more damage then just knock the life out of us – they rob us of the life we are born to live. Bringing the gut back, repopulating our guts (I have my own methods as a Clinical Nutritionist that really work!) is the only way forward into light and life.

Have a healthy day,

Onwards, Towards a Distant Light....

Today has been another good day – once again I fasted all day (since yesterday evening) – which gave me the energy, time and focus to concentrate on some of my projects I have been working on. My plan each day has been to fast until I reach a break through...and it always works.

It is amazing what an empty stomach can accomplish! LOL

And I am so pleased to say my little Rebel Food Shop is up (well, nearly) and ready to go. It is something I have been doing in the background for several years now in a limited way – not really certain what way to go.

Now I am moving forward and happy to be sharing some more of my favourite family recipes, foods, remedies, healing herbs and spreading the magic where ever I can in new ways.

Check out my Rebel Food On-Line Shop on my main blog for details on some of my foods as well as how to order in Ireland…outside of Ireland – well, we can work out the details! Bear in mind it is a work in progress and more links and details will be posted shortly. In the meantime, please email, text or ring with any queries.

Because April is kind of my ‘month’ – I generally take stock of who I am, how far I’ve come and where I would like to be in my life, around this time of year. Spring sort of does that to us as well - everything else on the planet is changing so.... Wake up and shake up.

I am happy with my progress over this past year – there have been steady (even through it may appear too slow) changes around me and I am not in the same place I was in. Not even from one month ago…so much has shifted and taken root.

Over the years I have seen my entire life stripped down to nothing – leaving everything behind as we walked forward, towards a distant light, a single brightness that was often cast in shadow.

Even now, I still marvel at how a dream can keep you going, a tiny pinpoint of energy can grow a seed and how when life takes hold – it will sweep you up in it’s embrace and never let you go.

A Table in the Sun

There are days when you learn something profound about yourself and the universe and then days when it seems as if life has passed you by. Today was a day of great insight and shifting for me – I spent most of it fasting….

Whenever I need to get to the bottom of some issue or another I usually do a few things to get the energy moving around it. One of the easiest for me is to fast, I exercise daily and that helps too as well as getting out into nature.

Today I was mulling a few things over in my mind about the earth and how she is responding (or we are responding to her energy shifts). I have been thinking about this spring season - all of the life around us and how these plants just know what to do as soon as the weather changes.

No one has to tell the plants to grow or the birds to fly home or for the creatures to build nests. They just know – as the earth warms with the heat of the sun all of life revives, finding a place for itself.

We are no different – spring should be awakening in us those same urges to nest, to go home, to put down roots and grow. What is also can bring into our conscious awareness is that we are not forgotten about when it comes to natures’ plan.

The birds go out and find their food – seeds, plants and nibbles there to nourish them. Plants have minerals, water and the richness of the soil to count on for their fuel – taking what they need and giving so much back.

Why should we be any different? Perhaps we have forgotten so much of ourselves in our rush to be civilized….our food – the things we require to detox, clear out and rebuild bodies after a long winter are equally available.

We only have to pull up a chair at nature’s table.

Stepping into Our Power

A pleasant day here on planet Earth energy wise – on the surface at least, all appears to be calm and moving right along. However, the undercurrents are forceful and not to be mis-calculated.

This is a time of upheaval – another one in the many we have been going through, some of us are thinking. But only on the surface, otherwise things are not what them seem.

Right now the only way I can really describe the view from here is that things are changing and that change is not to be feared. It’s as if a shift in power is taking place – the struggle has long since been won.

Now – for the handover.

And that is what is taking some time getting used to (for those who USED to be in power) and not the least a bit of resistance involved too. For those who are used to having things their way, not getting what they want, when they want it – opens up an entire new world.

For the rest of us, these changes usher in waves of abundance, times of plenty and lift the restrictions and limits imposed on us by closed minds and dark hearts.

Change begins on the inside and spills over into the light – but anything worthwhile takes time, energy and effort to move it along in the most positive ways. Patience is key here, as is perseverance.

Remember when your heart is filled with the highest intentions, even though it may not seem like it all the time – those intentions, dreams and wishes set your course through the stars.

All that is required of us is to follow in those ancient footprints – be true to our spiritual selves, chase our dreams, find our passions and listen to our hearts. Life really is that simple – it takes hold and thankfully won’t let go.

Cycles of Renewal

Each and every day our bodies are put through their paces when it comes to maintaining our best health. For a lot of us – we are not even close to that goal and perhaps never have been which is a sad fact of life these days.

For the most part, we are born into toxicity and then swim in it throughout our lives until it completely engulfs our humanity. It’s difficult to be healthy and remain so in such an environment (created by us and growing by the day!) of polluted water, rubbish food and emotional dysfunction.

However, I have often wondered about the concept of health – most people would say it is simply the absence of disease and of course they are right. Yet, I know many people who are not sick – but seem so unhealthy to me.

Or at least are unhealthy to be around on so many levels. There may be other dysfunctions in parts of their beings such as emotional toxicity, spiritual loss and energetic damage that would contribute to a state of lack.

These energy leaks, which have yet to register on the physical level, are usually present as very low chronic level inflammation.  But are bubbling away, spewing out darkness, under the radar, so to speak.

What I have found within myself as well as when working with others is how we should not and do not have to live our lives this way. It is not a natural condition of our physical bodies to create illness and disease.

In fact just the opposite should be the case. Our cellular structure is designed to repair and replenish itself in a continuous cycle of renewal – until our ‘time’ comes to an appropriate end. Perhaps what that end might be - is again up to us as well.

A gradual decline into unbalance, dysfunction and toxicity should never be the terms of aging or even part of the definition. We are capable of so much more then we realize – both within and without.

Remembering who we are appears to be the most difficult part of this journey and not the walking or talking....
