Day 13 - On the Juice!

That's another cleanse done - today it's our juice day and we are all feeling great. And I am happy to have accomplished another leg of this journey with our fasting. Each one is unique, each one takes us more deeply into our bodies and every time we are closer to our final goals.

Right now I have a sore throat and the cold my kids had a couple weeks ago -- LOL. So, I am not feeling overly terrible, just stuffed up, achey and perhaps worse than any of the days spent detoxing. Such is life, now it's my turn to have a cold and get more energy moving.

So far today I am drinking only juices and water, but later on in the evening I will have a lovely bowl of stewed veggies or some soup. I can't wait - it is a blustery cool day and the exact weather for some nourishing food.

As I went to sleep last night I could feel something very dark around me - almost as if this was the final push from my body to get another layer of toxins out - all I kept seeing were strange mythical creatures with a magical energy about them. 

Perhaps this was the evidence I had been waiting for of the dark arts moving out, a pattern breaking apart and the final removal of some horrible spell. It's funny, I liken my 40 days detox to breaking free of a curse. It was that powerful -- and these past 12 days were no less so. Just not as intense.

Where does it all come from? Well one area is any place evil intentions, ill will and hate reside. There are unfortunately far too many people in this world who spread that stuff around like a virus. What this does to us is something like cause a fault in the programming, affecting our thoughts and therefore our actions.

Being around people who spread dark energy and pull you down, along with a poor diet of sugar, caffeine and other drugs will cause us to soak up this energy like a sponge. Once this energy gets taken on board, it will fester and create energy blocks.

One of the things I like about fasting, cleansing and detoxing using water and herbs, is the manner in which these energy blocks are tackled and broken down one piece at a time. Now, let's see what this next few days bring as there is always an adjustment period post cleanse.

It's Juice Day - Day 11

I had a very strange night and was awake quite a bit, not really restless, but dreaming a lot of deep dreams again. Then at around 3am, I woke up after 'reading' a poem on a piece of paper. I read it in my dream twice and woke up repeating it.

There were no words written down, it was all a series of symbols, however I was reading each symbol as it was a sentence. These diagrams were painted in bright colours onto a white background, like a thick piece of paper or parchment. 

Once I woke up and realized I was still repeating these words, I got up and wrote them down so I would not forget them. Of course, once I was up, it was hard to get back to sleep and I ended up listening to the rain on the roof for quite awhile.

I don't often take the time to just sit and enjoy a sound or series of sounds, such as wind and rain hitting the windows or falling hard onto the roof, and the house is not often that quiet! LOL 

Today is juice day or the official transition back to solid foods after 10 days of Master Cleanse. We always start out this day with smoothies early in the morning and have done this so often we have our own system worked out. 

Right now I am pleasantly tired, feeling full from the juices, but otherwise pleased with myself for having completed another 10 days Master Cleanse. I know there were massive breakthroughs here, my dreams have been all into other dimensions, with an increase in visions and movement in my energy field.

Even last night as I was drifting off to sleep, I was taken immediately into another realm, the people were sort of bluish with some very tall. Their skin was lovely as if lightly patterned, like a light shining from the inside out highlighting the outlines of each symbol or shape etched into their skin.

I have a busy week lined up for myself as well - our festival is coming up (Blue Moon on Friday) and there is planning, cooking and baking to be done. Even last night I was itching to get going with some treats so badly, I ended up making some date squares. They smell heavenly, like a warm and cozy, comforting blanket wrapped around you. It was only then I figured out I had been craving dates all week!

Actually I only remembered over the weekend that this is perhaps one of my favourite times of the year. I used to think it was because it was back to school time (I loved going to school, it got me out of a very abusive house), but now I realize something more - as the darker time of the year descends upon us, I feel closer to the earth, as if shadow and light merge into one.

Well, that's me for today so far, I have a feeling this week will shine!

Transition Day 11 - We Did It!!

Another full 10 days Master Cleanse has been completed - and once again I feel a sense of accomplishment, but also that great inroads were made this time into my mind, life and these blocks that I have been working so hard to remove.

I even had another interesting dream last night, I was in a house and it was surrounded by cars, parked end to end. Someone was pulling into the front driveway of the house and I was around the back letting another person out. There was a convertible (very nice) parked at the back door, however it could not drive off because there were 3 other cars in front of it. I was going back into the house to find the drivers and ask them to move their cars. In the meantime, I was saying these words to myself - 'there has been no mistake', while the car that was ready to leave was blasting music - "It's all right now, baby, it's all right now".

I woke up just feeling this was such a positive dream and something (some part of myself) wanted me to be very clear that things were starting to move, but also that they were as they should be up to now. I am still feeling pretty pumped about the dream and of course the song has been going through my head all morning!

Today I am feeling good, although very tired. These past two nights I have not slept very well, loads of energy, loads of deep dreams, and I just feel this underlying sense of excitement that I am about to break through to some place I have never been before. As well, yesterday was a big detox day - a lot came up and moved through for me.

This morning I finally weighed myself, I am down 8 pounds - I no longer do these cleanses to lose weight as I am already at my ideal weight, and I find that within 2 weeks most of this will be back on. However, the neat thing about Master Cleanse is that when you need to lose excess weight, it comes off and I have even known very thin people to gain a few pounds. The innate wisdom of the body at work here.

Today is the juice day - for the next few hours I will be drinking only liquid juices to get my digestion going again preparing my body for some food. I have done this many times over the years and have it down to an exact science (read my book The Pagan Diet), so this day goes very well for us all. 

Then either late tonight or tomorrow, we will have some soft veggies etc and that is it - back to eating our normal healthy diet with our July Master Cleanse done and dusted. Just in time I might add for a big feast day late next week Lughnasadh.

This really is the easiest way to maintain weight, heal, shift and change anything you want in your life and if you have yet to try this out - you don't know what you are missing. Of course, you also have to be prepared for the new you that will emerge from all of this! The operative word here is YOU!
