One With Living Energy.....

What a crazy and wonderful world we live in and there are days when it is both of these things at the same time. Today was such a day, the energy of life has been building steadily while we move towards higher consciousness.

I mention ‘life’ here because the one (higher consciousness) can not exist without the other…you will not become ‘awakened’ with an unconscious gut or anything else for that matter.

Of course, parts of you will begin the process of lifting higher – however this process will stall if the physical component of it is not working along with all other aspects of our humanity.

In other words – if one part of us is to move upwards into higher realms of reality, then all of us must do so. This is an ‘all or nothing deal’! I remember being told this from my intuition years ago – no stone will be left unturned once our bodies decide to wake up.

And everything we do – our work, our thoughts, the food we eat and the company we keep – will either support this process, slow down this process or stop us cold where we stand.

For some of us, walking this journey is the most important thing that we might ever do here on this planet. Throughout our lives and the duration of it, we learn, grow into and become the people we are meant to be.

Fulfilling our unique destinies while we align with our purpose and recover our souls.

But even more than that, we experience what it means to love and be loved – by none other then the ultimate mother herself….the earth, Mother Nature or Gaia. She supports us, nurtures us and gently leads us into full consciousness.

To be awake or aware, enlightened and experiencing higher consciousness is to be one with her energy on this living rock. And it will be quite a trip, I am sure!

Dreams & Visions....

Today has been a great day with regards to change…not that much has altered that I can put my finger on…but things just feel as if they are different. I had an incredible dream last night as well…

Even though I dream something nearly every night of my life, there are times when an incredible dream comes along and you know it just means something special…

So, for the dream!

I was lying on the ground looking up, it was sort of like camping outside in the open, we were getting ready to sleep and I was with a group of other people. Each of us had an individual square of land, like a little plot – I could see everyone (including myself) as if I was looking from above.

The thing we were looking at or talking about, was the fact it was evening or nighttime, yet the sun was still in the sky, together with the moon on the opposite side. In the dream I was remembering the times in my childhood in Labrador when the sun dipped down, but did not set fully during the summer months…

However this sun in my dream was fairly high up in the sky, yet it was sort of dark as well.

Either way, it was a fascinating dream and I have been thinking about it all day even as I kept busy with cooking our celebration meal….but right now as I finally get a chance to sit down – I am trying to sort out/process what it might mean for me.

It was a psychic dream (the ones you have upon waking) – so something interesting is coming my way, that is for sure. Now to see what these next few days bring….

Wild garlic....

Life Is Gathering Around Us....

Change is in the air again today and there is always something new to be marveled at. One of the things that has become most important to me while walking this path – is to pay close attention to nature. It's everywhere!

And right now there is not a better time to be completely in touch with the world around us – it’s spring and life is right there in front of us. It’s hard to miss all the bright colours, the buds, the sprouts and the lovely looking flowers.

So….eat up! This is the best time of the year to get back into your body in a grounded, gentle kind of way. It’s also about new beginnings, the start of the year really is now – all of life seems to gather itself around us – forcing us higher.

If you have been enjoying your green nibbles from the garden in any way, your energy field is healing from the harsh winter spent inside as well as any long term damage from toxins and old self-defeating patterns.

Of course, all change starts with the energy around us (and within us) and these shifts will spill over into the emotional, spiritual and eventually physical re-patterning we have been reaching for.

All it takes is for our bodies to be shown a simpler, healthier and better way to live – or perhaps to find life again – and we are off, into that higher realm we have been dreaming of.

Is it any wonder when we speak of our dreams we refer to them in terms of how high they are, within our reach and lofty places….in order to raise up to where they are, we must work together with nature….

It’s a part of us we can no longer ignore – not if we want to walk further up this spiritual path.

I wouldn't have wanted to miss this....A Time To Heal

And another day without rain…this is lovely and welcome! We’ve had enough ‘weather’ to last a lifetime and perhaps for some of us – those who have been going through this recession/depression – we’ve just all had enough!

I have met a few people however who tell me the recession hasn’t touched them. At all. And the first thing I feel is, well, sorry that their life is recession proof because this has been a learning curve (and a curse!) that I would not have wanted to miss.

When I look back over these last few years of great difficulty, hardship and incredible change – I also see such an opportunity for building solid relationships with our selves as well as our partners and families.

But what is more, is how resourcefulness has come back into it’s own season. At one time, long ago, nearly everyone lived their lives knowing many skills, having their hands in a little bit of everything…

And relying on their own knowledge (some of which was passed down through the ages) to see them through challenges and yes, the most fundamental life skills of feeding and healing themselves.

This has been a time of coming back into our own, re-membering all that we are and the many things we can do – starting with where we are and what we’ve got. What ever way you look at it, even if we are sitting on the bottom looking up – at least we are on the ground and all of life comes from this place.

Perhaps we have had to find ourselves here first – before real, true healing and forward movement could take place. There is something to be said for hitting the bottom, being up against the wall of any place we may find ourselves….

However it is always a starting point.

Bealtaine - Harmonic Convergence of Earth Energy

Some days are just better spent quietly – perhaps taking the time out we need on a regular basis to just process through this life and times we are in, can be a gift we give ourselves.

I don’t know about you, but it usually takes me a day or so to think through events and happenings. And even when there is seemingly nothing unusual taking place, there are still those mornings when I wake up and ask…

What just happened?

Today has been such a day as this. I am taking some time to reflect on recent goings-on and quietly working through some of the undercurrents of activity. I find if I don’t do this whenever possible, things will just back up and I am forced to take time out…

Not that there is an over abundance of events or that anything is ‘out of control’ in my life…it’s just that I do like to keep in touch with who I am right now, where I am heading and perhaps to stop and dig up the flowers along the way!

One thing I have noticed about myself (again and again) is how I will have something in my mind to do…such as this week to go for a walk in the local wood. And do you think I have done it?

NO….well because there is always some other distraction. Someone wants to go somewhere else, there are other things to be done and you know the rest. The list is endless.

Instead I put it off and then put it off some more. Until the season has passed and I don’t allow myself my time out – into a space that is beckoning me to come and step on the forest floor, feel the energy of it’s life and perhaps be gifted with something wonderful….

So….no more of that! If and when something is on our minds to do, we should just find a way, make the time and take ourselves to where ever it is that is resonating with us.

It has something to do with a type of harmonic convergence – only it occurs in the singular….getting out there to connect with earth energy is like magic – we need to do much more of it.

And be fully conscious of why we are here.
