Last Push - Final Detox Cycle.... Day 22

The start of another week - I always have liked Mondays, the chance to make something of a new beginning. And so here we go...it's now day 22 of my detox and I am feeling pretty good. Yesterday was a bit slow, but - the weather was interesting at least!

Actually, the weather leaves something to be desired. In terms of energy shifting I have long wondered about these powerful storm systems and how they can change things locally and over larger areas very quickly and with relative ease.

I watch these things and wonder because it's so much like our bodies - we are capable of shifting and moving great mountains of stuff - when we really need to and life perhaps leaves us with no choice. At least, that's how most of us operate! LOL

Well, getting back to my fasting - this has been a very different type of clearing for me. And the deepest one so far in that it has nearly entirely been at the nerve level. Which is interesting because there are so many nervous system toxins out there....

And we ingest them daily without even knowing it for the most part. Of course, some of you are right now shaking your heads and thinking - not me. But, did you know that aspartame and other artificial sweeteners are neurotoxins?

Then there is something like coffee which has caffeine - anything that excites and stimulates the nervous tissues is a toxin. I don't eat night shades for this very reason, sticking to a clean diet of every other vegetable in the kingdom - expect for these.

Today being in the final few hours of my detox, I am perhaps gearing up for the most important detox cycle yet. That's how these things work - the longer you go, the deeper you go and the more debris that is cleared out.

It's going to be an interesting week all around because at the end of this week is Imbloc or Brigid's Day and I can't wait for our feast....

Standing in Your Own Power

We are truly nearing the end of this feast season and it feels as if the year itself is winding down - it certainly does seem to be going out with a bit of a bang so far. Storms and extreme weather coinciding with special dates on the calendar ..... hmmm. Interesting.

Perhaps at the end of the day it is no accident that such a huge storm system (an energy changer for sure) rolls into the world when ever things are being shaken up and altered. The earth does ultimately work alongside us and is obvious to those who care to pay attention.

To think that this living organism we reside on is but a passive observer to all the happenings for good or ill - would be such a waste of a connection. Of course she is involved, perhaps even far more than we realize.

Today in the aftermath of natures' forces, at the very least we are humbled while many are pulling together to get lives back to normal. Or, is that even be the option here? Normal life. What does that mean exactly?

Perhaps if this means living in such a manner that when a storm comes rolling in and slams into us - we cannot cope with heat, light, food and basic needs because of the circumstances we have placed ourselves into.

By this I mean - a number of years ago my intuition told me to get out of living in a town or city. Move to the country, work at raising my own food, have a well, a separate heat source and in general live sustainably. Off the food grid as much as possible.

We have taken years building ourselves up to this as far as skill learning, obtaining tools, livestock, education and developing our own methods and ideas. For the most part, a lifestyle such as this is driven by a desire to be healthy. Of course, there are other advantages.

These storms will come - are they more ferocious and extreme at this time? Perhaps. However, no matter what you believe, life might become increasingly difficult for many who are left high and dry without the means to heat their houses or to get clean water because of this weather.

Basics such as these are a must - and perhaps we must do far more for ourselves in this regard. When you find yourself in a position of not needing to out source infrastructure because you have developed your own - you are standing in your own power.

It's a great place to be!

Finally Day 12.... Clearing out the Ghosts!

So, we are now into the last 24 hours or so of our Master Cleanse and little experiment (on my part anyway) to see if we shifted in any way into more of an emotional detox as opposed to a physical one. And my thinking has been correct....

Over these last few hours, it has been entirely about old emotional patterns coming up to the surface for each of us. I know doing 20 days of cleansing a detox for emotional blocks, I just wanted to see when this kicked in - it does appear to shift into this different mode right away.

The change in level and depth of detox was so obvious, I could see, hear and feel things clicking into another arena, like gears moving in an engine. Uncanny. I have been debating going further this time until about 15 days, however, this is a long weekend and I want to do some things with the kids.

As for detox symptoms - I am cleaning. Usually that is a good sign, because when you are clearing and cleaning outside (with gentle environmentally friendly products) you are doing the exact same thing inside. So far today I have spent about 3 hours dusting, sweeping, washing, mopping and laundry.

And I am still not finished. But, this is good work and once it's done, the house feels better - and we all feel good. Nothing like a good thorough clean out to get you back on track.

Some of my other symptoms are loads of energy (can't you tell?), not sleeping deeply these last 2 nights, a lot of dreams when I do close my eyes, my hair is coming back to it's own, my eyes are clear and I must look ok because someone stopped me yesterday when I was out and told me how well I looked.

That's always a good sign!

Today I am really looking forward to getting back to more cooking, eating and of course our feast next week on Samhain. This is such a big deal for the children - they don't go out for treats, we have plenty at home. But also special movies and it's a full moon on Monday.... lovely energy all round.

Great time to clear the ghosts!

All This...Just to Discover Who I Am?

Today is my last food day - I start my August Master Cleanse tomorrow and I must say, I can't wait! I am happy to be doing it (I have come to love follow through as much as fasting) and I am equally pleased that once again I will complete exactly what I set out to do.

Four MC in four months - and to be perfectly honest, it has not been difficult at all. Quite the opposite in fact, that is not to say that any of this work is easy, because it certainly does have it's moments. However, when looking at how I used to live, how things were for us all and the endlessness of walking this path with seemingly not much taking place.

Well, this is far better!

I talk about this in my books, and will mention it again here. Our purpose, destiny, reason for living and even being on this planet in the first place is extremely important and vital information for us to know. However, as this is a personal message written for our eyes only deep within our DNA, there are locks, controls and a special decoder ring to even get in the door to that place.

As a medical intuitive this is a question that I get asked a lot - please tell me what my purpose is so that I can mull it over or take action on it. Perhaps that would be a good thing to know, but I don't think that it is anyone else's place to inform you of what you are here to do - mostly because it is a message between you and your soul.

Another good reason to not have these details revealed too early on in the game is because for the most part we are walking this path alone, in the dark, along an unlit trail, meeting few fellow travelers where much danger abounds.

Or, in other words it is simply not safe for us to have all of the details before the party begins. Perhaps we first need to show up for the party! Then we get to see how things are going to play out once we are in the door.

Living this way and following The Pagan Diet - Food, Fast and Feast has changed the way I walk my path, the pace has picked up and for the first time in 20 years, I feel as if I have some level of control over things.

When I want to create change in my life I do a cleanse, each fast/food/feast day brings with it new levels of awakening, learning and reaching more deeply into my own body to find the answers to each question that I ask.

And to be honest, I would have said to you years ago that I trusted my body (especially after healing cancer and having my daughter at home in a Free Birth) but, now, that trust has been taken to even higher levels and is being transformed into faith and belief in who I am and why I am here.

So, here I go, ready to do another Master Cleanse - my focus this time around is to launch or take off in some positive way - just me and all of these dreams that I have carried for so long.

Have a lovely day,

April

3rd Day of Mini Cleanse

Today is my last day of this little cleanse that I am doing, and I am feeling great overall loads of energy and it seems that my dreams are back loud and clear because I was dreaming all night. All seemingly about projects and things that I should be doing or following through with some plans that I have made.

Perhaps this cleanse has been all about clearing things off of my 'to do' list, because that is what I seem to be doing quite a bit. And even the weather has not been as bad as was predicted so that has been a bonus as well because I have been able to get out into the garden and pull some weeds.

Today I am also busy cooking (go figure, while fasting LOL) and have made honey oat bread, fairy cakes for the kids and prepared a lamb tagine which will go into the slow cooker to cook overnight so that it is ready for breakfast in the morning.

I love my breakfast and always look forward to eating after a fast - the planning phase is probably far more fun than anything as I find that I dream up new ways of doing things and tasty recipes when winding down from my fast.

If you haven't yet tried to do a fast, I cannot say it enough - food, fast and feast has changed my life and the way I look at food (and even the way I look apparently as I was told last night that I looked about 25!). Order The Pagan Diet and get started on your journey to better health in a slim body!

Have a lovely day,

April

And A Celebration Day today!

Today my son is 12 years old and I am no different from any other parents out there - thinking back to the day he was born and wondering where the time has gone. He seems so grown up in some ways - yet still a boy in others. I just hope that he doesn't grow up too fast, too soon - and that is one of the reasons why I home school my children.

A home is a place where we should be safe, be accepted for who and what we are, yet expected to be a part of a family with a role to play, chores and work to do as well as contribute in other meaningful ways. It is also the one place where you can expect to learn all that you need to know in preparation for the world out there. And that is why I home school my children.

On our birthdays here we get to choose the menu and eat whatever foods that we want to have - today I have been making macaroon and nut butter cookies, goat's cheese cake, whole grain spelt spaghetti and lamb meatballs for lunch, and then a roasted duck dinner for later tonight! (I will be exhausted LOL)

For me though I have long felt that there are a few significant years in a childs' life and developmental milestones that are reached recorded in those years. Age 12 is no exception - this is the year when the immune system reaches a stage of maturity making the child ready to go out in the world a little more. When fed properly and living in a healthy environment our immune functions in top form. However, when filled with drugs, vaccines and rubbish foods - sadly this is not the case.

This is a big day for him (and me!) and the start of a big year - the first of many, each one better than the last.

Now, after all of these feasting and celebration days, I will be good and ready for another Master Cleanse. It all evens out, though and I am so glad that I have the fasting to look forward to. Now, I always enjoy my food without giving one thought to putting on weight or that I am eating too much. I love my food and it loves me back.

In a couple of days I will be back to day on/day off fasting and back on track again - what could be simpler?

Have a lovely day,

April
