Life Is Gathering Around Us....

Change is in the air again today and there is always something new to be marveled at. One of the things that has become most important to me while walking this path – is to pay close attention to nature. It's everywhere!

And right now there is not a better time to be completely in touch with the world around us – it’s spring and life is right there in front of us. It’s hard to miss all the bright colours, the buds, the sprouts and the lovely looking flowers.

So….eat up! This is the best time of the year to get back into your body in a grounded, gentle kind of way. It’s also about new beginnings, the start of the year really is now – all of life seems to gather itself around us – forcing us higher.

If you have been enjoying your green nibbles from the garden in any way, your energy field is healing from the harsh winter spent inside as well as any long term damage from toxins and old self-defeating patterns.

Of course, all change starts with the energy around us (and within us) and these shifts will spill over into the emotional, spiritual and eventually physical re-patterning we have been reaching for.

All it takes is for our bodies to be shown a simpler, healthier and better way to live – or perhaps to find life again – and we are off, into that higher realm we have been dreaming of.

Is it any wonder when we speak of our dreams we refer to them in terms of how high they are, within our reach and lofty places….in order to raise up to where they are, we must work together with nature….

It’s a part of us we can no longer ignore – not if we want to walk further up this spiritual path.

I wouldn't have wanted to miss this....A Time To Heal

And another day without rain…this is lovely and welcome! We’ve had enough ‘weather’ to last a lifetime and perhaps for some of us – those who have been going through this recession/depression – we’ve just all had enough!

I have met a few people however who tell me the recession hasn’t touched them. At all. And the first thing I feel is, well, sorry that their life is recession proof because this has been a learning curve (and a curse!) that I would not have wanted to miss.

When I look back over these last few years of great difficulty, hardship and incredible change – I also see such an opportunity for building solid relationships with our selves as well as our partners and families.

But what is more, is how resourcefulness has come back into it’s own season. At one time, long ago, nearly everyone lived their lives knowing many skills, having their hands in a little bit of everything…

And relying on their own knowledge (some of which was passed down through the ages) to see them through challenges and yes, the most fundamental life skills of feeding and healing themselves.

This has been a time of coming back into our own, re-membering all that we are and the many things we can do – starting with where we are and what we’ve got. What ever way you look at it, even if we are sitting on the bottom looking up – at least we are on the ground and all of life comes from this place.

Perhaps we have had to find ourselves here first – before real, true healing and forward movement could take place. There is something to be said for hitting the bottom, being up against the wall of any place we may find ourselves….

However it is always a starting point.

Bealtaine - Harmonic Convergence of Earth Energy

Some days are just better spent quietly – perhaps taking the time out we need on a regular basis to just process through this life and times we are in, can be a gift we give ourselves.

I don’t know about you, but it usually takes me a day or so to think through events and happenings. And even when there is seemingly nothing unusual taking place, there are still those mornings when I wake up and ask…

What just happened?

Today has been such a day as this. I am taking some time to reflect on recent goings-on and quietly working through some of the undercurrents of activity. I find if I don’t do this whenever possible, things will just back up and I am forced to take time out…

Not that there is an over abundance of events or that anything is ‘out of control’ in my life…it’s just that I do like to keep in touch with who I am right now, where I am heading and perhaps to stop and dig up the flowers along the way!

One thing I have noticed about myself (again and again) is how I will have something in my mind to do…such as this week to go for a walk in the local wood. And do you think I have done it?

NO….well because there is always some other distraction. Someone wants to go somewhere else, there are other things to be done and you know the rest. The list is endless.

Instead I put it off and then put it off some more. Until the season has passed and I don’t allow myself my time out – into a space that is beckoning me to come and step on the forest floor, feel the energy of it’s life and perhaps be gifted with something wonderful….

So….no more of that! If and when something is on our minds to do, we should just find a way, make the time and take ourselves to where ever it is that is resonating with us.

It has something to do with a type of harmonic convergence – only it occurs in the singular….getting out there to connect with earth energy is like magic – we need to do much more of it.

And be fully conscious of why we are here.

It has always been NOW, but never more NOW, then now....

Today has been another wonderful day of sunshine!! Love this weather – it’s still not that warm however, but oh well, at least I can see the sun in the sky and that means a lot after (how many years has it been???) and no, it’s not even funny anymore…

So, that’s the weather sorted. It will be a glorious summer with heat and sunshine for all. Well, at least for those who want it. If someone wants rain – they are welcome to it, we can send all rain your way for the next few months.

Wouldn’t it be wonderful if it was actually that easy to shift the weather around the planet to wherever it is needed….imagine! How balanced and restorative that would be for the earth, not to mention those of us who live here.

There would still be seasons – cold, wet, dry, dark and light – just in the appropriate amounts. But, the world and her peoples would finally be working together in a harmonic wave of higher consciousness.

Of course, this is exactly what is coming our way. If the weather is changing (and it is), if the earth is gearing up for upheaval (and it is) if people are sensing something new on the horizon (and they are) it’s only because it is about time.

This time we are living in, right now (it has always been now, but never more NOW then now, if you know what I mean) this is IT. This is the time we have been waiting for, the time that has been talked about, written about and worried over.

The change is well upon us – and so many of us are blessed to be here, to bear witness to this shift in our reality and to be a part of something greater then ourselves (yet, it lives within and IS who we are).

If you have been sitting on a fence, waiting for things to change in your life, hoping and wishing things might be different or better… Well, now is the time to stand up, get on one side or the other and start moving.

There is no time like NOW.

Filling the Void - with more of myself

Today has been a day of deep magic – a lot has changed and shifted for me in a very short period of time. I have been fasting during the daytime – usually until I can sense a shift in my energy and then eating a small meal at the end of the day.

The reason I mention magic is because that is exactly what it feels like…it’s as if something other worldly yet quite wonderful has emerged out of the darkness, but it is of such a creative energy and bursting with potential.

From where I am standing right now, it seems as if this part of me or these aspects of my being have been cloaked and closed off for a very long time. The work I have been doing recently – such as taking my food to a whole new level (wild harvested etc.) – has been opening up an entire new dimension within myself.

I am still not entirely certain all that will emerge out of this – I know it has to do with my lifetimes past – the person I was in other times and the pieces of me that had been put down because of my beliefs and my work with herbs, energy medicine and intuition.

Perhaps more of this ancient knowledge will re-form in my sub-consciousness as I am continually freed from the constraints of times past – fearful situations and all things to do with being held back in any way.

Today I feel as if I am surging ahead in so many ways…not only with my creativity , but with my garden and each of my hopes, goals and dreams. Perhaps some of the fear has been lifted and is continuing to lift along with this heavy energy.

It has been a long time in coming – but once the energy triggers are in place, things will begin to move up and out, to help push out the darkness that needs so much to be displaced.

All that is left then…is to fill in the void with more of myself – what a lovely feeling that is!
