Removing the Darkness...

We are now on day 28 and nearly done our parasite cleanse – of course at this point I have been wondering if it has worked. But then again when I think of it – of course it has been successful, I can sense things (or something) has changed.

Or at least will be by day 30 when this is all over with. And will it have been worth it? Yes – absolutely. But I will tell you this has been hard going – and I used to think my 40 days detox was the hardest thing I have ever done.

Not now – this one tops even that. It has been both a physical and mental challenge at the same time – something buried (or burrowed) quite deeply into our bodies has to be routed out and removed. This type of die off has been incredible.

And that is exactly what this feels like. A search for darkness deep into the recesses of tissues and cells rooting out what doesn’t belong and has potential to do harm and most likely has done.

So why bother with all of this? Well, for starters, I want my body back –fully and completely. And that is not going to happen as long as there are parasites present which are running some part of the show.

These are also toxic buggers – they release poisonous compounds into the body systems creating an acidic environment. There is also the cancer connection – wherever there are parasites, there are fungal and candida overgrowth and this can lead to cancer.

Besides, this is something I can well do without and I don’t see myself repeating this type of cleanse all that often. Unless they show up again in some way. The reason I say this is because I don’t eat pork….

And I am convinced these parasites (at least the ones I have) have come in from eating pork when I was growing up. I remember as a Food Hygiene Inspector years ago seeing so much evidence of parasites in pork meats and products – but it was passed anyway.

We couldn’t catch it all. And unless there appeared to be an active infestation, the meat was considered safe to eat and it was routinely tested for parasites. I have not eaten it for the most part since that time and certainly not in the past decade or so.

Right now I am only focused on finishing this cleanse and getting back to some very interesting foods….parasite free of course!
